About

I am a teacher, designer, artist and knowledge seeker from the state of Idaho currently returning to America after spending a year teaching English in Loudong, Taiwan and exploring Asia. My present aspirations include pursuing my master’s degree by studying Japanese and the world of e-learning through the Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship in Tokyo.

My interests include western and eastern theology and philosophy, Asian culture, education, e-learning, emotional intelligence, motivation, memory, art, design, photography, international travel, tennis, hiking, swimming and jamming on the saxophone. I received a BA from Northwest Nazarene University in Liberal Studies with minors in both photography and art. My senior exhibition can be seen here by clicking on “corrugated”. I am currently working on a number of projects, including studying Chinese and Japanese, photography, and researching the use of e-learning in the classroom.
